The Volvo V40 Cross Country is essentially a beefed up version of the Swedish premium hatchback. Featuring rugged looks and a raised ride height, the V40 Cro Hello all. Toying with the idea of a little suspension lift on my V40 CC. Probably about 30mm or so. Heiko do a kit for this with new springs and shocks and according to the website nothing else needs changing. Also I've found company's that do spacers for the top of the struts that can give various raised heights.
In addition to my post above the reason I'm looking to change from a S60 to V40 Cross Country is that my s60 is a hard drive at times .. with it being r design lowered suspension and it's a bit rocky.. so I'm hoping the cross country being raised slightly will be a better drive.. any advice.. and advice on engine.. it has to be auto though.

Upon research it appears the Cross Country is cheaper to buy than the regular V40 despite it being the reverse when buying new. Also, is the Geartronic with the 2.0 Volvo diesel better than the PowerShift with the 1.6 Ford diesel? Any ideas on this?
